February

2nd February – Talk “Genaelogy – How to Find Yourself”  with Ruth Lawler. Darnley Lodge Hotel, Athboy 8.30pm.

March

29th March – Talk: “England’s Difficulty, Ireland’s Opportunity: A Chronology of the Events of Easter Week 1916” with Máire Ní Mhórdha. Darnley Lodge Hotel, Athboy, 8.00pm.

April

17 April ~ Talk: “Athboy in 1916” with Bernard Walsh.

May Bank Holiday Weekend (29th April-2nd May)

29th April ~ The Music of 1916 with Des White, Macra Hall Athboy.

30th April ~ The Songs of 1916 Project perform at St. James Church of Ireland, 7pm.

1st May ~ Recreating Athboy, 1916 -Recreating Athboy as it would have looked in 1916 a street event including children’s games, period costumes, vintage cars and more.
